What is the Position indicator?

Kipp Position indicators enable the precise measurement of the travel path. Despite their small size, they are extremely precise. They are especially suitable for small shaft diameters. Position indicators are available as either mechanical or digital indicators.

There are two types of position indicators, they are:

1. Digital or Electronic Position indicator

2. Analog or Mechanical Position indicator.

Position indicators is a shaft-driven measuring counter device that enables the direct reading of set values. When the shaft rotates, the numerical value changes accordingly. Position indicators are available for different shaft diameter 10, 14, 20 and 30 with various mounting position to suit customers application.
